This is our seventh port of nine in Japan. Our plan today was to take a taxi to Jodogahama Beach and Miyako Jodogahama Boat Cruise (Umineko Maru). But it was a nasty overcast day when we got up so we just hung out in the port area. It cleared up befoe we left but the wind was getting stronger.
The town had set up a craft fair, food trucks and then as we were leaving, put on a big show for us. We bought a few cool things and had a nice lunch.
You can see the tsunami wall really good in picture above. This is a nice panoramic view from the ship of the harbor before we sailed.
Tomorrow we visit Aomori.
