See all the pictures from Whittier Alaska.
Today we had our first port of call in 9 days in Whittier Alaska. Andi and Tom drove down from Anchorage to visit and go on our excursion with us. We had a great time.

Ken organized a tour of 22 for a Glacier and Wildlife tour from Lazy Otter Charters.

As we left port, we got some great shots back to the ship and town.

Our first top was right across the bay where we found lots of birds and a couple of waterfalls.

We even saw several mountain goats, one even had a baby!

We then cruised to Blackstone Glacier. On our way, we saw a really cute sea otter.

The Glacier was awesome, lots of ice in the water.

Lots of waterfalls.

More birds with some cool in-flight shots.

We then headed to Shotgun Cove where we could walk on the beach for a bit. There was an old ferry turned cannery boat washed up and broken on the beach.

On the way back to port, we saw some sea lions.

Here are some cool shots from the dock.

Sail away was awesome as the sun peaked out and since it was Golden Hour, we got wonderful pictures of the surrounding mountains as we cruised out of Port William Sound on our way to Hubbard Glacier tomorrow afternoon.
