Today booked private tour to explore the area surrounding Suva, Fiji.
We started our day visiting a local village for an authentic lunch, although it was a bit early, some authentic Fiji dances including a fire dance, and a kava ceremony.

Next we drove across the island and saw a local Saturday market selling all sorts of fruits, vegetables, seafood, and more. Seeing the fresh seafood sitting out makes us question if its still “fresh”.

We drove through several suburbs on our return to Suva and then stopped at the local botanical garden. It is across the street from one of the old hotels, Grand Pacific, as well as parliament. We finished our tour at a Handicraft Market and got some nice souvenirs to bring home.

We returned to the ship to rest and freshen up and then, for Valentine’s day dinner, we had Dinner at a lovely restaurant for a 3 course dinner and also got another fire dance show.
