See all of our photos from our day in Sydney Australia. There are many more than shown below.
We docked in Sydney Harbor right downtown and next the famous Sydney Harbor Bridge and just across the water from the UNESCO Sydney Opera House.

After going through formal customs and immigration procedures, we spent the day on walk-about. We started by walking around the port area and then to the opera house to get pictures of the bridge and iconic structure along with some historic buildings.

Next, we walked up to the Royal Botanical Gardens which were quite lovely. There are lots of wild parrots around this area as well.

Leaving the gardens, we strolled up and saw some of more historic buildings.

We were near the courthouse and saw some barristers with wigs and robes pushing what were probably case files.

We had lunch in China Town then walked to Darling Harbor and spent some time at the Wild Life Sydney Zoo.

We had tickets for a sunset harbor cruise. It was a rough ride, raining, and not sunset, but we did meet a new friend, got some pictures from the water, and had fun in spite of the weather.

Sail-away was after dark and Karen got some great shots as we left heading towards Tasmania.
