We had a private tour today with June Dejone of Bali Escapes along with a driver to see the most we could of the area of the Island of Bali near the port in Denpasar.
We started the day at the rice terraces in the hills near Ubud.
Next, we drove to a temple nearby.
We started back down the hills towards Denpasar and stopped for a beautiful luncheon.
After lunch, we headed to the House of the Mask, a private collection of masks and puppets. All of the buildings were over 100 years old and had been moved from other parts of Indonesia and reassembled. It was very cool.
We finished our day at a traditional wood carving house and bought a very cool carved and painted buddha along with some carved coconuts before heading back to the ship.
Next up, 3 days at sea as we head to Kalua Lumpur Malaysia.
