Day 90 April 5 Disneyland Hong Kong

Day 90 April 5 Disneyland Hong Kong

See all of our photos from HK Disneyland here.

Today we have tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland. Once again, we are spending the day with our friend Chance Devlin. We pre-arranged an Uber to and from Disney to make things easier. It was about a 25 minute ride from the port the park. We had a long walk from the drop-off to the entrance area.

The first thing you see when arriving and the last thing you see when departing is Mickey Mouse riding a surfboard over a whale spout.

Once we got through security and into the park, we were on Mainstreet USA. It is very similar to Magic Kingdom.

We decided to head straight to Frozen Land to beat the crowds so we walked down Mainstreet, through the castle and Fantasyland. We saw Walt and Mickey sitting by the carousel.

Frozen Land was super cool. We rode both rides.

Then we were off to Adventure Land and Jungle Cruise.

Next up was a new land for us, Mystic Point and Mystic Manor. Not the Haunted House but with nods to it. Very cool ride. We ended up riding it 2 times.

We walked through Toy Story Land but they only have 3 rides and they are not great so we continued on to Tomorrow Land where we rode two Marvel rides, Antman and Ironman. Antman is like a Buzz Lightyear kind of ride shooting things with a laser gun and Iron Man is similar technology to Star Tours but set in Hong Kong and with Ironman. Space Mountain was closed for refurbisment.

Back to Fantasy Land for Small World and Philharmagic to finish up the top tier rides and attractions. As it was raining, most of the shows and parades were either cancelled or dramatically shortened.

A bit of shopping on Main Street and it was time to head back to Mystic Place for dinner at the Explorer’s Club and ride Mystic Manor one more time before heading back down Mainstreet for some night shots of the castle and entrance and the LONG walk to the Uber Meetup Point.

Tomorrow is a sea day and we are going to need it.
