Today we ported in Seogwipo Jeju Island South Korea. We had a car and driver hired for the day. Unfortunately is was raining very hard all day. We tried to visit a botanical garden but the rains were too hard. We next drove to Ilchulland botanical garden where there is a lava tube cave called Micheon Cave that is over 1700 meters long, 365 of which you can walk through. Again, it was raining hard but we suited up and made the best of it. It was about 1/3 of a mile walk to the cave entrance.
After we exited the cave and back into the rain, we retraced our steps to the entrance. This would be a beautiful place if it was a nice day. We took a few snaps with our phone.
We next drove to the Daily Olle Market in Seogwipo. It was crazy and huge. Jeju is all about Tangerines and Mandarin Oranges.
We managed to find a few treasures in a few shops and stopped for a tangerine ice cream before heading back to the ship. We had an early all-abord at 230pm.
Our next stop is Japan and Katsushioro.
