This is our fourth port of nine in Japan. Our plan was to take the train to Kyoto but at the last minute we decided to visit Universal Studios Japan. What a great day. Our ship was docked directly across the harbor from the park.
Today’s post will be setup by different areas in the park rather than in the order we spent the day. At the front of the park there is an enormous covering over the first few blocks where all the main shopping is located.
We actually visited most of the shops in the park which is unusual for us.
We found a pretty cool flower garden near the main lake in the center of the park.
There were some vehicles from movies.

The first “land” we visited was Minons.
The Water World Stunt show was fun and they had lots of props in the queue area.
Just outside of Water World was the entrance to Super Nintendo World. Very awesome.
Next was Amity and San Francisco.
Here are a few more pictures of us near the lake in the Amity / San Francisco area.
Wizard World of Harry Potter was both the same and different from Orlando. The building seemed much taller but the order of things was the same.
Wonderland was full of Hello Kitty, Peanuts, and Sesame Street rides.
There were lots of characters out and about.
The Hollywood Blvd area was very similar to Orlando.
At the end of our day, we went to Hard Rock Osaka in City Walk.
Right next to the ship was a giant Ferris Wheel. This was actually taken from the ship.
